The Type 2 Drain has perforations of 1.8mm in diameter. It can be supplied with or without a filter sleeve, depending on the results of the particle size analysis or the backfill material used. It integrates perfectly with our range of injected accessories, ensuring a solid assembly. Filter sleeve options include non-woven polyester (100 micron aperture), non-woven polypropylene (250 micron aperture) and knitted polyester (450 micron aperture). This product is now WELL MADE HERE certified! We recommend a particle size analysis before undertaking a drainage project to select the appropriate pipe depending on the soil type.
